¿What's CrossFit?

CrossFit is a functional training program in which varied movements are performed at high intensity. This means that you will execute natural movements that will help you become more agile, stronger, more flexible, and have better coordination in your day-to-day life.

CrossFit is for everyone, regardless of age or physical condition, as the training program adapts to your conditions. The exercises are constantly varied, so you will be trained to deal with any situation that requires you to move or move a load. CrossFit is based on developing all aspects of fitness, such as cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, and balance. Your level of fitness will be surprisingly elevated thanks to the functional movements at high intensity that will generate a positive response in the increase of the power you can develop. This means that you will be able to finish a series of exercises faster or do more repetitions in a set amount of time.

CrossFit workouts consist of a structure in which a general warm-up is performed first, where we aim to start moving and increase heart rate, followed by a specific warm-up where we prepare the muscle groups that will work in the intense activity, and a WOD (work of day) where we will develop a workout with a specific stimulus, such as completing several rounds of exercises in the shortest possible time, carrying out exercises for a set amount of time, training in time windows, etc.


In CrossFit training, we seek to face multiple challenges, diverse and random. All of this should be practiced in a safe environment led by a professional coach. At BollBox, our coaches teach you the technique of all exercises and provide you with the necessary advice to develop good execution of the exercises. In addition, we are always watching you to correct any technical errors that may arise. For your safety, we recommend finding a CrossFit box where you can learn the technique of the exercises.
